Super Random Catch Up Post!

I know that when I get back from San Fran I am going to have tons of awesome pictures to post so I figured that I had better play catch up with some old pictures before I leave. Otherwise I may never post them (and my boys are too cute not to have their pictures posted)!

These are the pictures that Justin took at Father's and Sons. I wish that there was a picture of Justin and Clayton together, but I am just really happy that he found the camera that I so cleverly stashed in his bag and took a couple pictures!
This is Clayton and his buddy Tate. Justin and Clayton shared a tent with Tate and his dad. Both boys seemed pretty happy about this arrangement!

I saw this picture and I laughed out loud! The expression on Clayton's face and his body language is classic! He's such a ham!

I think it's cute when kids fall asleep in their highchairs. I used to take pictures of Clayton everytime he did it, but this is the only one I've taken of Noah (poor second child). I left the room for about 30 seconds and by the time I came back, this was what I saw. Pretty cute!

Clayton has learned to stick close to my side everytime I get the beaters out. More often than not it means that I am making cookies and he has developed a taste for the dough. He stands close to my side as I make the cookies and asks every few seconds if he can lick the beater. (*Also - just so I can remember this - that is his favorite shirt. It has a John Deere tractor on it and it says 'I only drive the best'. A woman in our ward gave it to him and he wants to wear it every single day. He gets really sad if it's dirty. He doesn't care what I dress him in unless it's his "favorite tractor shirt".)

I love these next pictures!
Noah is really developing into my little dirt hound! He loves to sit in the dirt and bury himself or whatever toy he happens to be holding. He also eats a fair amount of it. I have done my best to limit his dirt intake, but this kid usually ends up with a ring of dirt around his mouth at the end of the day. This is Noah "hiding" on the little hill in our backyard and burying his leg.

I love this face! He has learned how to climb the ladder up to the slide. As you can tell by his face, he is very proud of himself. I don't mind the fact that he doesn't sit by the slide and cry until I sit him up there either!

He can also now go down the slide without needing me at the bottom to catch him. I get sad that he's growing up, but I do love that he can get where he wants to go all by himself!

Clayton saw me taking the pictures of Noah on the slide and he made a point of telling me that he can go down the slide by himself too! He said, "Mom, don't you want to take my picture too?" I sure did.

Okay, well, that's all I have for now. I am very excited to see Ashley and Anisha soon, but a part of me is super nervous/sad/scared to leave my boys for a week. I've never been away from Clayton for that long and I've never been away from Noah at all! It's not that I am worried about how they will fare with Justin - he will probably run the house better than I do (a slightly depressing though), but I know that I will constantly be checking over my shoulder or feeling like I am forgetting something. It's going to be a great vacation but I am going to miss them a ton!

Whenever I take a picture of Jett, Jaylee is always right there, making sure I get a picture of her too. Of course, when I want a picture of just her, she tells me she doesn't want to take a picture. I love the picture of Noah at the top of the slide, it really captures the moment!
