Since our company has left, quite a few things have happened. Clayton finished preschool:
Clayton and his teachers - Christina, Judy, and Sue.

I realize this picture is almost identical to the one above it, but this one has Saksham, one of Clayton's best friends. Clayton made two good friends this year - Saksham and Vihit. Those are the first friends he's made all on his own - Vihit is going to be in kindergarten with Clayton next year, but Saksham has another year of preschool. I know Clayton will miss him.

Noah has decided to start potty training himself! Now, before you get really excited for me - he's not potty trained yet. I'm not going to potty train him until September (he still wakes up really wet and I don't want to have to 'day' train and 'night' train - it's all or nothing with me) but if he wants to take some initiative and do it himself that is okay with me!! He has been telling me off and on lately that he has to go and he then he goes. I'm hoping that by September he will have done almost all the work himself and there won't be much for me to do (fingers crossed).

I also bought him a white t-shirt the other day. MISTAKE! I'm not sure what I was thinking. I should have known better. Noah loves to be muddy. Since it rains so often out here it seems like the ground is always wet so there is no shortage of mud for Noah to play in. I love how much of a boy he is. There is always a lot of clean-up where Noah is involved but I love it!
Heaven help me, I love this dirty face.

Finally, Josie is two months old now! Where did the time go? She seems so big! She's such a good baby. We've been really blessed with her.

At her two month check here are her stats:
Weight: 11lbs 9ozs (75th percentile)Height: 23 1/2 in. (90th percentile - which is fitting since Justin and I are so tall)
She's thriving. Some things that she's starting to do - sleeping for long stretches at night (she's been giving me about six hour stretches most nights, five for bad nights and eight for good ones - I told you she's a good baby), smiling (although I have yet to catch it on camera), and trying hard to suck her thumb (I have a feeling we're going to be three for three with the thumb sucking). Anywho, here are a couple of cute pictures of her recently:
I love how babies look when they are sleeping. I read in a book once that men wouldn't start wars if they just spent time watching babies as they slept. I think there is something so beautiful about a sleeping baby.

Her face cracks me up. I think all babies have a signature expression. Clayton was a very serious baby. He rarely smiled. Noah was a super smiley baby and smiled all the time. I think Josie is going to be my surprised baby. She always looks surprised. I love it!

It seems like time here is passing so quickly. Before I know it Clayton will be in Kindergarten (sob), Noah will be potty trained (hooray), and Josie will be rolling/crawling/walkng all over the place (sigh). Time passes so quickly when your kids are little...

Awww, I love sleeping babies too. I'm so glad she's been so good for you. She sure is a pretty and sweet little thing. I think I like your method of potty training...letting them do it themselves. Reese is starting to show interest but I am still dreading the whole process. I'm glad everything is going well with 3....you're making it look easy!
oh my Ariane you have three kids!! They are soo cute and getting so big! I totally agree with your potty training as well.. why force it when you know they may not be ready but than you are fine if they want to lighten the load for the diaper change! Presley still wears a diaper at night.. some nights there are surprises and some nights there arent I figure at 3 1/2 i will be done with them.. but now I really dont feel like the laundry when I wake up!
Josie has gotten so big since I last saw her, it is crazy!!! I must say you reproduce very well, you really should have many more children, why deprive the world of your genes!!
I can't believe how much Josie has cahnged since we left. She is adorable!! I hope you get a smiling picture soon!
Oh my gosh, I love her blue eyes. She is so cute.
Love all the new pics, especially Noah and his cute muddy face, and Josie's cute surprised face :) She's already losing that newborn look. That's so nice that she's such a good baby, and a good sleeper!
