Josie is almost 9 months! I can't believe she's that old. She's changed so much in the past month I almost can't believe it. You'd think that since she's my third kid I would be prepared for how fast they grow. I'm not.
Things she's doing now:
-Clapping
-Crawling
-Pulling up on things
-Cruising around (she's not fast yet, but she does it)
-Blowing spit bubbles
-Making fish faces (which I wish I had a picture of, but I don't)
-Waving 'bye bye'
-Eating rice cereal, stage 2 fruits and vegetables, pieces of bread
-"talking" (I love the little baby babble)
-Dancing (she bounces and flaps her arms when we turn on music)
Facts about Josie:
-She has her two bottom teeth (has for about a month now)
-She LOVES it when we sing to her
-She eats paper. I try to keep it away from her, but she's taken bites out of books, eats any little scrap that falls to the floor (I swear she has eagle eyes), and has totally eaten my visiting teaching list. I swear we try to stay on top of it, but if it falls to the floor even for a second, she's ON IT!
-She follows the boys around like a puppy. Clayton LOVES it, Noah does not.
-She prefers to eat vegetables to fruits. Specifically, she likes the green vegetables best. Weirdo.
-She's very smiley and easy going most of the time.
-She has a very feminine voice. It's very high pitched and delicate. It's amazing how different it is from the boys.
Here are a few pictures of her:
Who wouldn't like to see this first thing in the morning!?! I love going into her room every morning and being greeted with this big smile.

We had to take her mobile down right after these pictures were taken. She's getting so big!

Her hair is long enough now for curlers. I don't do it often, but I think it's so cute every time I see her with curlers in her hair! (Please excuse the runny nose, it's winter and she's teething, double whammy.)

I actually prefer the sponge curlers to the velcro rollers, they stay in her hair much better and are much more effective.

She LOVES it when I load/unload the dishwasher. Seriously, like a moth to a flame. I open the dishwasher door and two seconds later, Josie magically appears. I turned around to put some cups away and when I turned back around, Josie was in the dishwasher. I don't think it'll be too long before she's climbing stairs (heaven help me). She looks mighty proud of herself though, doesn't she!

A few pictures of my big girl standing up. Justin and I think that at the rate she's going there's a good chance that she'll be walking by her first birthday.

Love that sweet smile! Yes, it's a mess behind her, but that's because...

I've started packing! Eventually we'll move all our boxes down into the basement, but until we can do that, all our stuff is going to live in our living room. It's a little annoying, but everytime I look at it, I just get so happy! (That med school is almost over, that we put our house on the market - February, that we can start thinking about a bigger house, that I'm being proactive and getting rid of SOO much junk, etc. etc.)

Anyway, Josie is getting so big and I am grateful every day that she is a member of our family. We all love her so much and when I see that big smile on her face, I'm pretty sure she feels the same! I love you Josie!

I swear our two April littles were cut from the same mold... each thing I read about Josie, I just had to laugh because Nigel does so many of the exact same things, although she's WAY ahead of him in the mobility department, he's still just army crawling :). She is so very cute. Not much longer until the elusive match!
I can't believe she is already 9 months old!!
She is so beautiful and I can't believe how big she is and all the things she is doing. Babies grow up way too fast!
She really is an adorable baby. I love her cute smile in the black and red outfit, and that bright red bow.
Her eating paper is hilarious, especially your VT list. All I can think of is that part in Elf when he eats the cotton balls, just keeps popping them in his mouth with glee.
Boxes . . . sad.
She is getting sooooo big!!I love her huge blue eyes too, she is absolutely gorgeous.
