However, the highlight of the trip (and reason for it) was Clayton's baptism. Justin and I are so proud of Clayton. He's turning into such a great young man (yes, I said 'young man', it makes me feel old - even if it's true). He chose to be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He asked his Uncle Zach to give a talk on Baptism. We then watched him get baptized by his dad. Then Clayton, Noah, Landon, Tori, and Ella sang the primary song 'Baptism' followed by a talk on the Holy Ghost by his Grammy. Clayton was then confirmed and given the gift of the Holy Ghost by his dad. Other men in the circle were his Grandpa, Uncle Jared, Uncle Zach, and our friend Ricky. We concluded with a light luncheon. It was perfect.

A winner? I'll take it:
Clayton was sustained a member of the church the following day in Sacrament Meeting and he was beaming from ear to ear. He then bore his testimony and it was very sweet. He knows the church is true and we are so blessed that we get to be parents to such a wonderful boy. He's an outstanding kid and I'm excited to help/watch him as his testimony and relationship with his Heavenly Father continues to grow and develop. I love you Clayton!
(**Stay tuned for more posts about my family's visit. I'll post them as soon as I get all the pictures collected from various family members. I just thought I'd start with the best and most important post!**)
