Yay for sisters!

I have the best sisters. The older I get the more convinced of this I am. They are very different people, but it's great because I get the best of all worlds with them. We share everything. When Justin and I first got married he was a little weirded out by how 'freakishly close' my sisters (and mom) and I were. He's used to it by now though - I don't think anything about our relationship could phase him at this point. The point is, my sisters are great and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

Last week I got a special treat. My sister, Ashley, came to visit. It was a completely last minute trip. She took some time off of work to run a half marathon and ended up getting more time than she knew what to do with. With no hesitation she booked a trip to Vermont to see me! I can't tell you how happy this made me. First of all, it has been almost a year since I last saw her. Second, this winter has dragged by and I had nothing to break up all the monotony. I wanted to cry when I went to pick her up at the airport! (And I DEFINITELY cried when we dropped her off!)

We didn't do too much while she was in town this time. We did some shopping and ate out a few times but we mostly just sat around my house talking and laughing. (She also helped me paint the nursery - but I will post about that a different time.) I didn't take too many pictures of her time with us, but that's because we were having such a good time that I honestly didn't think to get the camera out. However, here are the ones I did take:

I had to put this one in here. I didn't realize that she was going to be making a goofy face or else I would have made one too but her face in this cracks me up! It's a really good indicator of her personality - she's crazy funny!
I needed to throw this one in after using that last one. She's so pretty (and she looks even prettier next to the 'Incredible Bloated Lady')! Oh yeah, Clayton took this picture (and the one above). He's turning into such a good photographer!
The boys absolutely loved having her here. She was so good about dropping whatever she was doing and playing whatever they wanted. She definitely spoiled them. I think Clayton was a little disappointed when we came home from dropping her off at the airport and he realized he was stuck with just boring old mom again!
Thanks for coming to visit Ashley! I love you and am so happy that we got to have you with us - even if it was only for a short time! I can't wait to see you again in May!

Man you are lucky to get so many visitors out there! I love that you and your sisters are so close. That makes me excited for my two girlies to be so close in age. You really do look like such a darling pregnant girl...just as I imagined you would!

Okay, I just read Claytons quote on the side about, "yeah, I don't want one of those" regarding his soon to be sister. Hysterical!

Ashley is such a hottie! Where are you guys moving after Vermont? Closer to your family at all? I don't know how you live so far away from them. I guess you kinda just get used to it like I did when I lived in Idaho. But we were only a 12 hour drive from Vegas, so that's not too bad.

Are you feeling sexy these days? I think you look so cute, but I NEVER like myself pregnant. If I have to stand next to my cute little sis for one more minute ...

Ah, the perks of having a med student for a husband. Where's my med student husband with a crochet hook when I need him?

Geez, you're popular!! I hope everything's going well! I wish you were closer to you're family too!! It will make me sad if yo're lonely! That may happen to me soon to, since we have to move for GRahm's new job! Anyways, you don't look bloated. The end stages od pregnancy aren't fun, that's for sure. I think we have the same opinion on that! love ya girly!!
