Last week I got a special treat. My sister, Ashley, came to visit. It was a completely last minute trip. She took some time off of work to run a half marathon and ended up getting more time than she knew what to do with. With no hesitation she booked a trip to Vermont to see me! I can't tell you how happy this made me. First of all, it has been almost a year since I last saw her. Second, this winter has dragged by and I had nothing to break up all the monotony. I wanted to cry when I went to pick her up at the airport! (And I DEFINITELY cried when we dropped her off!)
We didn't do too much while she was in town this time. We did some shopping and ate out a few times but we mostly just sat around my house talking and laughing. (She also helped me paint the nursery - but I will post about that a different time.) I didn't take too many pictures of her time with us, but that's because we were having such a good time that I honestly didn't think to get the camera out. However, here are the ones I did take:
I had to put this one in here. I didn't realize that she was going to be making a goofy face or else I would have made one too but her face in this cracks me up! It's a really good indicator of her personality - she's crazy funny!

Oh how nice! You are both gorgeous. I haven't seen her in years, glad you posted.
Man you are lucky to get so many visitors out there! I love that you and your sisters are so close. That makes me excited for my two girlies to be so close in age. You really do look like such a darling pregnant girl...just as I imagined you would!
Okay, I just read Claytons quote on the side about, "yeah, I don't want one of those" regarding his soon to be sister. Hysterical!
AWw.. I know what you mean! I miss my sisters alot too! and all but one lives here in town! I am so glad she was able to visit.. being away from the family can suck .. and its always wonderful to have them visit!
Ashley is such a hottie! Where are you guys moving after Vermont? Closer to your family at all? I don't know how you live so far away from them. I guess you kinda just get used to it like I did when I lived in Idaho. But we were only a 12 hour drive from Vegas, so that's not too bad.
Are you feeling sexy these days? I think you look so cute, but I NEVER like myself pregnant. If I have to stand next to my cute little sis for one more minute ...
You girls are so cute! I am glad that you had a fun time with Ashley, and it is always so fun to get visitors.
I love sisters! That is so great that you got to see her!! Sometimes it's nice just to sit around and talk-I love it!
bloated my foot ariane. you look great! :) Fun that Ashley could make it over for a trip that's awesome!
I am sooooo jealous that I could not come and enjoy the sisters week, but I know that I was definitly missed!!! I can not wait until we can all be together in May, and it will be nicer weather.
I love the first picture. Great face Ashley! I totally agree that sisters are the best, and how nice of her to come visit! You look like a cute pregnant lady not a bloated one!
I'm impressed with Claytons picture taking skills! That's so fun that your sister came to visit. I too am close to my sisters and am thankful for them!
oh yeah! I was going to say that too. He really is quite good at taking pictures and I think he has a certain amount of natural ability. :)
Aw, Ashley rocks! What a fun unexpected trip. I would've bawled.
Also, I can't wait to see the nursery! You describing it make me totally excited for it.
Ah, the perks of having a med student for a husband. Where's my med student husband with a crochet hook when I need him?
AH Ashley what a doll! Sisters are the best!
Geez, you're popular!! I hope everything's going well! I wish you were closer to you're family too!! It will make me sad if yo're lonely! That may happen to me soon to, since we have to move for GRahm's new job! Anyways, you don't look bloated. The end stages od pregnancy aren't fun, that's for sure. I think we have the same opinion on that! love ya girly!!
