Las Vegas - part 1

It seems like I'm doing everything in parts now. We have been having the best time visiting in Las Vegas! I'll waste no time. The trip out was great, I couldn't have asked for better behaved children. I hope that our return flight is as pleasant. First order of business when we arrived:
Slurpees! We don't have these in Vermont. I know - how do we survive!?!

The boys have also taken swimming lessons since we've been here. Miss Gretchen and Miss Rachel were amazing teachers. Noah still needs A LOT of work, but he is only two so what do you expect. Clayton however is a machine! He will need a little practice, but I am really impressed at how much he learned in only a week and a half!

This little lady really wanted to take swimming lessons too - can't you see the disappointment on her face!?!
We've been spending a lot of time poolside. I love it!! We go out just about every day. When we are indoors, the boys are thinking of swimming!

For the 4th of July we did a lot of this:
And this:

And this:
Then we headed out to Boulder City for some more water action (a water park), a barbeque, and some awesome fireworks with friends.
Clayton and Easton. These little buddies were SO funny. Clayton thought Easton's name was Danielle (sorry Rachel) and Easton thought that Clayton's name was Plankton. Funny.
Anisha, Rachel, and Ashley.
You didn't think I'd post this one - did you Anisha!?! Ha - joke's on you!
Yes, I'm crazy burned. So worth it though!

Me and my patriotic posse.
I thought for sure that Miss Jo would have a bad reaction to the fireworks. Nope. All of my kids loved them. Clayton is super excited to see some more on his birthday (his b-day is the 24th and we'll be in Utah - good timing huh!)
Because we've been so busy and outside in the hot sun so much, all of our days seem to end the same way:

Stay tuned for part 2 (which will hopefully come in the next few days).

How fun! I'm so glad you got to get away for a fun holiday, and with Justin! Also, good for you giving the boys swim lessons. I'm amazed how many people don't teach their kids to swim.

Your sunburn is awesome--and really, what better way is there to tell people when you get home, "I was on vacation somewhere warm!"?

Hey, if you guys are still around, give us a call. Jared's number is still the same since college, if Justin still has it. I'm going to Utah on Thursday for 2 days, but other than that, we're free. Jaylee has also been taking swimming lessons. Swimming is about all you can do in this heat!
